Do Africans Love Themselves?

DO AFRICANS LOVE THEMSELVES                           

Do Africans love themselves? This question has become imperative considering the way and manner Africans behave towards themselves.

There was a Nigerian who, not too long ago passed away but left behind him a whopping N61 Trillion in his bank accounts!

However, when that same Nigerian was alive, he couldn’t help the numerous out-of-school children in his state in taking to schools, paying their school fees, buying uniforms for them or feeding them.

His state have the largest number of beggars in Nigeria.

Also, his state has the largest number of the poorest of the poor in Nigeria and still has, yet he had N61 Trillion locked up in a bank that was useless!

Now, what is the purpose of gathering such humongous wealth yet his fellow citizens were living in squalor, hunger and deprivation?

What is the major purpose of being blessed by the almighty God but your fellow citizens are begging across the country without food, shelter or clothing?

Likewise, the all time repeated xenophobic attacks on fellow Africans in South Africa makes the above headline question, germane and necessary.

In the same South Africa where fellow Africans are being hacked down under the unfathomable guise of taking up jobs in the country, there are Chinese, Indians, Americans and Europeans that are mining the various natural resources in the country that are immuned against such baseless attacks. Do Africans love themselves?

Tragically, but the reality too. It is only in Africa those who pride themselves as leaders, pillage their vaults, siphon such funds to foreign banks, borrow the same money and pay interests on their own money! Do Africans love themselves?

While Africa host the largest numbers of poor people globally, the siphoned funds from the continent are used to develop the continents where they are hidden. Do Africans love themselves?

Africa and Africans will remain poor except there is an attitudinal charge in the mindsets of members of the ruling class in the continent.Poverty in Africa is man made, and not as a result of lack of funds and resources, but primitive thinking faculty among members of the ruling class in the continent.
